Event Time and Date

Monday, February 20 2017, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM

The Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) is looking to provide students with the chance to expand their knowledge on various topics through our "At the Table" discussions. The discussions were created with the knowledge that many marginalized populations are not usually present at the table for discussion on certain topics. Therefore, the intent is to provide an opportunity for students to engage in discussions that are empowering, enlightening and informative.

This month we want to provide students with information about how to engage in different service learning opportunities that focus on equity and social justice matters. As such, we invite you to participate in this months “At the Table" discussion. Meet us "At the Table" with Liz McKee, Assistant Director for Community Service of Student Involvement and Leadership Development to learn about the wonderful opportunities available and how Huskie Alternative Breaks program enhances a student’s development personally, academically and professionally. If you have any questions, please contact GSRC via GSRC@niu.edu or call at 815-753-4772 and our staff will assist you.
